It's hard to believe we're already one month into 2023! This year I've set a goal to start journaling in the mornings and it's always been something I've thought about doing but never actually did. We rang in the new year painting yet another room in the house - Camila’s bedroom.

I've been planning to paint her room for a while now ever since we got my childhood daybed from my grandparents. The moody rose color adds beautiful contrast for her new big girl bed and now her room makes me even more excited for spring! I’m imagining fresh flowers in a cute vase on her dresser and a few more final touches like art, lighting, and maybe a rug then we can call her room complete. A beautiful cottage-inspired floral bedroom for my growing Mila.

Currently dreaming of sitting next to this warm fire with a nice cup of coffee or any warm beverage for that matter. A nice hot bath or shower would be nice too.

Gathering some inspo for my next home project : my son's bedroom.

It's been a while since I've given my son a room update and since he'll be starting kindergarten this fall, I thought what better time to give him a true big boy room than now.

My new summer essential: turkish towels!

I finally pulled them out of a closet for our recent family beach trip and now I'm contemplating throwing all my other towels out! I've probably gotten on my family's nerves talking about how much I love them 😂 They're lightweight and fast-drying; complete opposite from a regular beach/pool towel. Plus they come in a variety of colors, double as a sarong, and are 100% husband approved. These are easily my new summer essential.
