It's no secret that I love to host be it with family or friends or both! I love planning and putting together a simple and classic table for parties or holidays to make the meal feel just a little more special.
With my brother's wedding coming up, I gladly took on the role of planning my soon-to-be sister-in-law's decor for her shower with the help of my mom and sister. I saw this tablecloth while browsing Amazon one day and immediately fell in love! I used this as my starting point which then turned into a classic, spring, 'something blue' theme for the party.

A little trick I love is to leave the tablecloth and napkins with a little wrinkle in them. It makes them feel more lived-in and relaxed than making them too 'perfect'.
I purchased these woven chargers and these white hemstitched napkins because I know they can be used often and will go with pretty much any tablescape design. These are great staples to have on hand if you love to entertain as much as I do.
I also used my vintage champagne glasses to elevate the table just a tad and I always use tea lights or candles to set the mood. These votives looked great with the table and I love that they added a touch of texture with the ribbed glass detail. They're also only $.59 cents so you can't beat that price!
